Minnicock Lake

Halfway between the equator and the North Pole sits Minnicock Lake. There are 67 lots in addition to two lots of Crown Land fronting the lake along with two islands. It is a shallow lake fed by beaver ponds and wetlands at the very top of the Gooderham Creek -> Irondale River watershed. Hills to the north and east separate this watershed from the Burnt River watershed.

The town of Haliburton is 15 km to the northwest and Gooderham is 18 km to the south. Toronto is about 235 kms to the southwest. Lake elevation is about 380m above sea level with the highest land surrounding the lake at 410m just to the east of the lake.
